our national capital region. Department officers and members alike
serve
on government advisory boards, contribute to D.C. VA Medical
Center programs,
volunteer at through the Veterans Affairs Voluntary
Service (VAVS) and conduct
regular meetings to advance the goals of

Recognition Service Award Presented to Mr. Johnnie Collins at DC VA Medical
Center
The DC VA Medical Center's staff
and DC-AMVETS members presented Johnnie Collins the Recognition Service
Award, during a ceremony, for his many years of devoted service and support to
disable veterans. The ceremony was held September 1, 2010, at the VA
Medical Center facility in Washington, DC.
