VA Medical Center, Washington, DC. Mr. Kendrick is also recognized for volunteering to setup and maintain the Department’s
website from 2007 to the present at no cost to AMVETS.

2010 AMVETS Americanism Award


Deputy Secretary Wilbert B. Forbes, Sr.
Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs

In appreciation of his outstanding service to American Veterans.  Mr. Forbes involvement with homeless Veterans on the
Maryland Easter Shore resulted in the establishment of a Veterans Service Center, which bears his name Forbes Hall, Veterans
Education and Training Center.
